Students from 35 of the finest United States and Canada culinary schools test their skills at the stove before a judging panel of over 80 famous chefs.

Since 2002, every year the program has been highly anticipated by culinary schools, culinary students, famous chefs and food industry leaders. Currently, the Finals Competition is held each year at the Culinary Institute of America, Greystone Campus in the Napa Valley area of California. A panel of highly qualified chef and media judges make an initial assessment on a regional level to select the top 10 students representing each of the key markets to move forward for an opportunity to win the title of the S.Pellegrino™ Almost Famous ChefSM. Prizes are also awarded for Signature Dish - a duplication of their winning regional dish; Mystery Basket - a 2-hour task to prepare an entrée with provided ingredients; and People’s Choice - invited guest attendees vote on their favorite Signature dish. The winner of the S.Pellegrino Almost Famous Chef Competition is given the outstanding opportunity to work for a year alongside a chef of national fame, the possibility to learn to promote their image through appearances in the national and regional media outlets and a cash prize. You don't have a default printer or your printer isn't ready.

You must have a default printer selected for your computer, and it must be a real, paper-based printer, not a virtual fax machine or file printer or PDF creator. Follow the instructions that came with your computer for setting up your printer. Also, make sure your printer is turned on, loaded with paper, has enough toner or ink, etc. If your printer is a multi-function device (print, fax, copy, scan) please make sure the default printer is on the print function, not the fax function.

Your operating system or browser is incompatible.

Coupon printing is currently supported on Windows Operating Systems Vista, XP, and 2000 when used with Internet Explorer 6+, FireFox 1+, Netscape 8+, and most MSN and AOL browsers. If you are unable to print when using an MSN, AOL, or Compuserve browser, please try printing your coupon using Internet Explorer 6+. Coupon printing is currently supported on Macintosh OSX 10.3 or higher when used with Safari. Coupon printing is not supported on Linux or WebTV.
